Sam Hunt formed Two Planes in 2008 at UNC Asheville. They broke up in 2009, reformed in 2011, broke up in 2013, reformed in
2016, broke up in 2018 and reformed in 2022.
The current lineup is Sam on guitar, Kevin Stanford on guitar/keys, John Fornof on bass and Jonathan Bass on drums.
